St. Patrick's Day!

We had so much fun yesterday on St. Patrick's Day! The girls are still sick! Poor babies! We couldn't do anything too exciting, so to get into the holiday spirit we dressed up in green and got creative with our food! Bella had a ton of fun painting her breakfast and using her "Lucky Leprechaun Dust."

For Breakfast we had:

RAINBOW TOAST &
POT O' GOLD SCRAMBLED EGGS

To make this we painted rainbows on white bread. No worries...The "paint" is just milk with some food coloring in it! :o)Then we popped it in the toaster!
The Pot o' Gold eggs are just regular scrambled eggs and I made green juice to go with it!

Ta-Da!

Bella had green apples w/ "Lucky Leprechaun Dust" for her snack

They were her favorite thing of the day!

For Lunch we had:

GREEN MAC 'N CHEESE

And...For Dinner we had:

STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS

Mmmmmm!

Leprechaun Dust!

This is a fun addition to children's snacks for St. Patrick's Day!

Put lime or pistacio flavored instant pudding mix into a shaker and decorate it however you like!

Tell your kids that its "Lucky Leprechaun Dust"! They can sprinkle it onto slices of green apples, and watch as the dust turns green on their snack...like magic!

Tip: Make sure that the apple slices are juicy/wet in order for the mix to change color!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Twilight!!!

I pre-ordered Twilight! Yay! I can't wait to get it!

Dinosaur Exhibit!

Today I took the girls to the El Paso Science Museum to see the dinosaur exhibits. The exhibit consisted of a bunch of animatronic dinosaurs. They were really cool. I kind of wish the exhibit was bigger!

Bella was a bit weary at first. Then I started calling them by their "Land before Time" names and that put her at ease. Her favorite was "Sarah" aka Triceratops. LOL!

So we were happily moving through the exhibit when Miss Bella spotted the very last dinosaur..."Sharp Tooth" aka T-REX! I don't think I have seen her that scared in my life. She went into a complete panic and started screaming and crying! Poor thing!

I tried to convince her that he was friendly and couldn't hurt her, but she wasn't having it, so we moved on to the science part of the museum. Of course, at the time we arrived they were doing the lightning show. As soon as we walked up the lightning boomed...and Bella ran! She ran into the boys bathroom and hid. She was done. All she would say after that was, "I want to go HOME!!!!!"

What I thought would be a fun learning experience, turned into a very traumatizing ordeal for Bella!

As we were leaving Bella says, "Are we going to see the dinosaurs?"
Mommy: " Do you want to?"
Bella: "No, I am shy to them!"
Mommy: "Oh okay"
Bella: "I like dinosaurs! Lets watch a dinosaur show Mom."

She could have fooled me!!!

Clay Creations!

These are our clay creations that we made "At The Clayground."
Above was her birthday plate. Everyone at her party signed it! It turned out so good!

This is the teacup & Saucer that Mommy n Daddy decorated!
